The Space


★ ADULTS Only: LIVING ARTENARA offers a relaxing environment, perfect for resting, disconnecting, or remote working from a peaceful place surrounded by nature.

★ From 9 May to 1 July 2025, roadworks will be taking place in front of our accommodation due to the construction of a retaining wall.
There will be intermittent noise from Monday to Friday, between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm.
The nearest parking area is a 4-minute walk from the property.

★ Located on a south-facing hillside, the property receives direct sunlight most of the day and is sheltered from the northern air that blows in the area.

★ Bright and pragmatically arranged accommodation. Bedrooms and living room areas in an open floor plan layout. In front of the entrance door, a beautiful niche shows the NATURAL STONE in which the apartment sits.

★ Our accommodation mantains a relatively constant internal temperature all year round. In addition, we have included a state-of-the-art DEHUMIDIFIER as well as an electric heater, to help warm the room up on colder nights.

★ If you like to read, sit under the light of its reading lamp on the comfortable loveseat, and switch off!

★ The BEDROOM area features two 90 x 190 cm single beds, each upgraded in September 2024 with premium REGINA hotel mattresses by Pikolín, providing firm support, exceptional adaptability, hypoallergenic protection, and breathability.

★ The KITCHEN is spacious and open to the outside thanks to its LARGE WINDOW WITH VIEWS. It has an induction hob, microwave, refrigerator, electric and Italian coffee makers, kettle ... as well as all the necessary utensils to cook comfortably.

★ The BATHROOM has been COMPLETELY RENOVATED in September 2023. It has a shower and gel and shampoo dispensers for your convenience.

★ The accommodation offers access to the LAUNDRY ROOM only for stays of more than 4 nights, every WEDNESDAY and SUNDAY, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

★ The property is surrounded by incredible walking trails. Some of them give access to interesting touristic sites, such as the town of Tejeda, the Pinar de Tamadaba, or Acusa Seca archaeological sites.

★ The entrance to the building and, therefore, to the 4 accommodations, requires climbing a flight of 14 steps. There is no access ramp.

★ This accommodation is accessed through an open roofed corridor, which has a privileged view of the two most emblematic volcanic formations of Gran Canaria: Roque Nublo and Roque Bentayga. Enjoy it with a good wine in hand, sitting at the table of the wonderful set of outdoor furniture. This corridor is also used by guests accessing two other accommodations: “Nature | Remote Working | Hiking” and “Cave House & Silence| Remote Working | Hiking”. As this accommodation is at the end of the corridor, there are no other guests passing in front of your door.

★ The property is located next to the Cave Houses Ethnographic Museum and the Artenara Tourist Information Office. Very quiet area with hardly any cars. Easy to park.

★ Verly close to LIVING ARTENARA you will find a couple of supermarkets: SPAR Artenara (350 metres away from the accommodation, it opens Mon-Sat: 09:00-13:30 / 17:00-20:30. Holidays: 09:00-13:30 and Sundays closed) and UDACO Artenara (280 metres away from the accommodation, it opens Mon-Sat: 09:00-14:30 / 17:30-20:00 and Sundays: 09:00-14:30 / 18:30–20:00.)

★ It is perfect for 2 people. Ideal for those who seek to disconnect from the routine and get closer to nature, for remote workers seeking a change of scenery, for outdoor sports enthusiasts, for those longing for silence.

★ It makes the PERFECT ADDITION to your sun-and-sand stay in Gran Canaria.

★ Important: Artenara is the municipality located at the highest altitude in Gran Canaria. The roads that reach the town are tortuous, so we advise against driving on them after the sunset.

In any case, near Artenara you will find Tejeda (about 15 minutes by car), where you will find a wide range of restaurants, for lunch or dinner.

★ There is a UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE site in Artenara: Risco Caido and the Sacred Mountains of Gran Canaria Cultural Landscape. It is the perfect place to learn about the spiritual beliefs of the first inhabitants of Gran Canaria. The visit to its Interpretation Centre, in the village, is highly recommended.

- LIVING ARTENARA does not provide the service of changing dirty sheets and towels in the accommodations. However, in all of them you will find a spare set of sheets + a spare set of towels per guest. The building has a washing machine, the use of which is restricted for stays of 5 days or more.
- PARTIES AND NOISES that may disturb neighbours are prohibited from 10pm to 8am.
- PETS are not allowed.
